The 5th season of EXHIBITION ON SCREEN launches on 26th September with the film 
Canaletto & the Art of Venice – at the Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, in which we have been granted privileged access to the Royal Collection and have created an immersive experience to explore Canaletto’s art and his life in extraordinary detail.

he  University of Surrey would like members of the Farnborough U3A  to know about  a number of exciting music and performance opportunities available to the local community at the University of Surrey.


Community Orchestra 

A new initiative launching in October which offers members of the local community the opportunity to join a talented Orchestra. Directed by Russell Keable, internationally recognised for his world-class performances with non-professional orchestras.


The Orchestra will rehearse on Monday evenings (subject to review) throughout the year to give a series of concerts.


We will be holding an open audition day on Sunday 1st October and have just launched a Facebook page which will provide further updates


University Choir 

A lively and fun choir open to members of the local community. A basic level of sight reading, an ability to hold a tune and enthusiasm is all we ask for! No audition is required.


The Choir rehearse every Wednesday from 6pm-8- and perform 2-3 times a year.


Lunchtime Recitals

We all offer the local community the opportunity to attend Lunchtime Recitals, weekly performances featuring student performers playing in a wide range of styles.


Lunchtime recitals are free to attend and take place in term-time. They will commence again in the Autumn.
